Can I print the programs at home?

Yes. Any duplex printer will do it. Use Adobe Acrobat Reader’s built-in Booklet mode, or upload the PDF to a free imposition tool such as bookletfree.com, then print double-sided in landscape.

What printer settings should I use?

Print at 100% or “Actual size” — never “Fit” or “Shrink to fit.” Enable double-sided printing and flip on the short edge so the backs align. Print the full spread in landscape and a pre-imposed booklet in portrait.

What paper should I use for wedding programs?

28–32 lb text (105–120 gsm) keeps double-sided pages crisp with minimal show-through. For a sturdier feel, print the cover on 65–80 lb card and nest it around the text pages. Matte reads best in candlelight.

Can a print shop print the file?

Yes. Send them the same 300 DPI PDF and ask for double-sided, A5 finished size, folded and saddle-stitched on the fold.
