This policy explains how nuptialmassbooklet.com, operated by House of Catena, LLC (d/b/a NuptialMassBooklet), uses cookies and similar technologies. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device so it can recognize your browser on the next request. Related technologies include browser local storage and pixel tags.
2.Our approach: one cookie
The short version
We set exactly one cookie, and it exists solely to keep you signed in. We use no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no cross-site tracking. We do not use browser local storage or session storage at all.
We think a booklet for your wedding shouldn’t come with a side of surveillance, so we have kept this as close to nothing as the service allows.
3.The cookie we set

Purpose
Keeps you signed in as you move between pages, and identifies your account so we can show you your booklets. Without it you would have to sign in on every page.

Expires 7 days after sign-in, or immediately when you sign out.
Type
First-party. HttpOnly (scripts in your browser cannot read it), SameSite=Lax, and sent only over HTTPS in production.
Contains
An opaque random session identifier — no name, email, or booklet content.
Signed-out visitors browsing the marketing pages and templates are not given any cookie at all.
4.Third-party cookies
We embed no third-party scripts, so no third party sets cookies on our pages. There is one hand-off worth knowing about:
- Stripe. When you check out, we send you to a payment page hosted by Stripe on Stripe’s own domain. Stripe sets its own cookies there for payment processing and fraud prevention, governed by Stripe’s privacy policy. The same applies to the billing portal. Once you return to our site, no Stripe cookie is in play.
5.What we don’t use
For the avoidance of doubt, this site contains none of the following:
- Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics or product-analytics tool.
- Advertising, retargeting, or conversion-tracking cookies or pixels.
- Social media pixels or share-button trackers.
- Session-recording, heatmap, or scroll-tracking tools.
- Fingerprinting, or any technique for identifying you across other websites.
- Data brokers or advertising networks of any kind.
6.Why there’s no cookie banner
Consent banners exist because of non-essential cookies — analytics and advertising. Strictly necessary cookies, like a sign-in session token, are exempt from consent requirements under the common frameworks. Since the session cookie is the only one we set, there is nothing to ask you to consent to, and a banner would be noise. If we ever introduce a non-essential cookie, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
7.Managing cookies
You can view, block, and delete cookies through your browser settings — usually under Privacy or Security. Support pages for the major browsers explain the exact steps for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.
One consequence to expect
Blocking or deleting our session cookie will sign you out and prevent you from signing back in, since the cookie is the sign-in. Your account and saved booklets are unaffected — you just won’t be able to reach them until you allow the cookie again. Browsing templates, pricing, and guides works fine without it.
8.Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We don’t track you across websites, so a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal has nothing here to disable. We honor such signals as a legal opt-out where they apply — noting that we do not sell personal data or serve targeted advertising in the first place.
9.Changes to this policy
If we change how we use cookies, we will update this page and the date at the top. A change that introduces a non-essential cookie will be accompanied by a consent request before that cookie is set.
